The manager said no-one was to be rated below 8 and who are we to argue with that?
ALLAN MCGREGOR - 8
Kicking was wayward, also didn't seem to appreciate the off pitch coaching on it from Lafferty! Deservedly raging for Rapid's offside goal.
JAMES TAVERNIER - 9
BLUE BLUE BLUE CAFU. Another terrific performance by the Rangers captain. Tremendous ball in for Alfie's opener, fantastic ball in for Ejaria's chance in the second half and an ice cool penalty so seal the win.
JOE WORRALL - 9
Magnificent. What a way to answer the Livingston critics. An excellent old fashioned stopper, comes out to intercept well, didn't lose his battles and helped to start attacks.
CONNOR GOLDSON - 8
Quieter game again, but did nothing wrong and displays great leadership at the back.
JON FLANAGAN - 8
Thought he may get the nod for his defensive attributes. Had a torrid time in the first half against Rapid's number 97 but coped well thereafter. Had a major nosebleed for our first goal, if Morelos hadn't got it Flanagan was right up there to hopefully poke it home!
LASSANA COULIBALY - 8
Better than he's been since his injury lay off, got about well and made his presence felt.
SCOTT ARFIELD - 8
His touch and vision at times are outstanding, he was so close to a couple of fantastic assists tonight. Another experienced player who stepped up when needed.
OVIE EJARIA - 9
Turning into a wonderful player. His excellent feet to get half a yard resulted in him setting up Morelos for the penalty, unlucky his chance at goal hit off his shoulder as a goal was more then well deserved. Great performance.
DANIEL CANDEIAS - 9
Three Lung's delivered another non-stop performance. He's like the road runner hammering up and down that right flank. Provides so much balance and cover for Tav & indeed the right sided central midfielder. Worth his weight in gold on nights like these. Outstanding for the third, he actually wins his own clearance in the build up! Displayed some real intelligence to back heel the ball into Morelos path. If he had stopped and turned, Morelos would have went offside and lost all momentum.
RYAN KENT - 9
Rangers best player since the international break. Deadly on either foot, delivers a wonderful ball in and his close control and trickery make him such a handful. Isn't quite delivering an end product in terms of goals and assists but he's been so vital in the build up it almost doesn't matter.
ALFREDO MORELOS - 9.5 MOTM
As good a performance as Lonely Bill Leckie's recent column was bad, this was Fredo firing at his imperious best. Classic finish from a great ball in for the first and in the second half he battered a decent defence. No player we've had in the past 10 years is able to play the lone striker role like he does. Did so well to win the penalty and then displayed a level of composure to slow away the third that was really encouraging.
ANDY HALLIDAY - 8
On at the death, imagine how loudly he was screaming at Morelos to square it at the end!
GLENN MIDDLETON - 8
DIdn't think this was the game for him, certainly not from the start. As we pressed in the second half and the game got stretched, I thought we may have seen him earlier but in Stevie G we trust!
STEVEN GERRARD - 9
Displayed a maturity that belies his managerial experience in not making any subs when we were in the ascendancy. Showed great belief that the team would solve the problem and get the winner. Would have been criticised had it not came, but that's what managers need to do!
